On the morning of April 6, 2025, a total of 192 dedicated staff members and donors from Pacific AA Foundation and Roche Myanmar came together to donate blood at the National Blood Center, in a united effort to support those affected by the recent earthquake.  

We were honored by the presence of Mr. Daniel Derzic, Head of Mission of the Embassy of Switzerland in Myanmar, together with Embassy staff, who joined the donation on their own private initiative. Mr. Derzic also shared a few heartfelt words with attendees. As part of the initiative, Pacific AA Foundation’s Chairman U Zaw Moe Khine and Vice Chairwoman Dr. Saw Nay Nwe presented a donation of 5 million kyats to Professor Dr. Eh Htoo Phe of the National Blood Center.  

Professor Dr. Thida Aung shared the inspiring history of the Blood Bank and expressed her appreciation for the support. Ms. Christina Yong from Roche Myanmar also delivered a warm thank-you speech to all participants. Each of the 192 blood donors received FEROPAC iron supplements, breakfast, and lunch as a token of gratitude for their selfless act.
